Welcome to our Website,

The Rallye des Trompes du Parc aux Cerfs de Versailles is happy and proud to welcome foreign visitors. French Hunting Horn is a very ancient music instrument, primarily dedicated to hunting. The Marquis de Dampierre, gentleman in charge of Roi Louis XV huntings and pleasures, composed several oldest pieces of music we continue to play nowadays. Since, several Hunting Horns player groups enjoy to play music during hunting parties or masses dedicated to Saint Hubert.

For more than 30 years, the Rallye works in Saint Louis area in the city of Versailles, 15 kilometers from Paris and close to the famous Château de Versailles. Several times a year, we are happy to contribute to Versailles area local life and cooperate to several events. Our main event is, one time a year, King Christ Mass in Versailles Saint Louis cathedral for more than on thousand assisting people. All Rallye French Hunting Horn players are non professionnal musicians. Our Rallye is built both on a strong friendness between us and a very open minded attitude : all new players are welcome to our weekly workstream, each monday evening in Versailles.

Each Hunting Horn Group, as well as Hunting Crews, wears specific jackets. Jacket main color, pocket color and sort of stripe are different from a group to another.  Our jackets are red (a color from english hunting fashion in the nineteenth century ) with dark brown pockets. The stripe is made with two golden parts and one silver central part.

For any further questions, do not hesitate to ask us using our email or postal adress ; please, see our website chapter "how to contact", english speaking/writing people are welcome.

Hoping you will enjoy
